Lucky is one LUCKY guy! Singh has opened her home and heart to this little bundle of love! Candy has been taken home by Paul and Brenda! Ria - Our sweet little deaf girl has found a VERY loving, kind, and patient family! She will be surrounded by people who will love her, cherish her AND be her ears! A BIG Mahalo to Fred for rescuing her and to Johnny and Family for opening their homes. Pema - Chris has decided that good things come in fours! Pema now has three 'girlfriends' to spend her days with! Misty - Laura and Family just wouldn't stand for it! Misty will NOT be homeless again! The have taken Misty into their lives and have informed us that we shouldn't even THINK about getting her back!
Lady - Sheila hit the JACKPOT! Remember the old song 'Luck Be A Lady, Tonight'? Well, Sheila's Luck was our LADY!!! Not only does Lady have a GREAT new home she also has a great playmate to spend her days with! Emma - Our shy little girl has found a GREAT home in Mililani with Pastor Christopher, Tomi and Jennifer! Luke! Our little bundle of joy has gone from being abandoned on the beach to capturing the heart of his Foster Mom! Laura just can't part with him! We kinda knew it would happen. Miranda has adopted Joe and his family! They are very happy with her and... The feeling is mutual! Buddy has gone to Kaylee's where he fully expects to be loved and coddled! He's got a great big yard to play, play, play in!!
Loosy - A big Mahalo to Mary and family for making Loosy a part of their home! Lucky spent only two short hours at Pet's Discount before his new family scooped him up! Bill - Dennis tells us that Bill was adopted right away! Inu - Evon and Ray have found the Love of their Lives! Inu will be spending Easter in her NEW home! Mahina as she prepares to start her new life with Carl and his wonderful family!
Rockette will be staying with Rainy and her brother Rocky!! Penny has been smitten by Billy! HDF hero Cynthia, who adopted Billy, has decided it's time for him to have a sister and has adopted Penny! Hazel - Super Foster Mom Cheryl has taken the Matriarch of our Dogs, Hazel, into her home PERMANENTLY!!!! from roaming around with a nearly embedded collar to being part of a LOVING home! Kayla - George and Marie have already sent out their announcement! They have a new Baby girl! Kayla was an immediate hit with the whole family and the best thing is she will be in a GREAT permanent home! Misty - Shelley has gone where no one else has gone! Straight into Misty's heart! Our precious Misty has been bounced around for the LAST time. This is forever LOVE!
Lazarus - Ashley has adopted our 'ambassador of good will'!! Lazarus has moved from scorching sun burn to donning Aloha shorts and hiking with his new family! Moses has become a part of Kale's family! Cocoa and Magnus would never let him go! THANKS KALE for bringing Moses into the promised land! Bubba - When Joanna saw Bubba's picture on the website she KNEW he belonged with her family. This handsome little guy has come full circle: from getting pelted with cans and stones to getting petted with hugs and kisses! Rusty - Melanie and Joe took one look at Rusty and KNEW they had met their newest family member! Ah... Love at first sight! Mac is recovering from his surgery and in the process he stole Mrs. V's heart! He'll be spending his golden years being spoiled and LOVED!

Chubbs - Kim and Ed were introduced to Chubbs and the attraction was instant and likewise! Love at first sight! Our sweet little Ginger. Just 10 weeks old and suffering from pneumonia and a possible serious diaphragm problem, this brave little girl went through life threatening surgery and came through with flying colors! A BIG Mahalo to Sheryl and Burt for sticking by her! AND another one to the generosity of the HDF Members who chipped in and paid for the surgery! Lego Boi - Super Foster Mom, Sandi couldn't part with Lego Boi when the his siblings left the nest! He'll become an official member of the Doane clan! Nikka - Colin and Helen are in LOVE! and the lucky little girl is Nikka! They've changed her name to Nikky because that what she likes!... AUWE!!! KIDS!!!!!! Max - Alicia and Jeff were the first to apply for our Seven from Heaven. While they had to be sure any new addition got along with their dog it was obvious that Max would be the one!
Brownie Girl - Joyce and Kevin saw Brownie Girl on KHNL and fell in love. So much so that they just had to take Oreo too!!!! These siblings will be spending their whole lives together!

 Pokey - Stanlyn and Noland lost their precious Pudgy last year. It took a while for them to mourn and when they were ready for another Dog the generously came to HDF where they knew they'd be saving a life. Of COURSE they immediately bonded with Pokey. Our little brindle heartbreaker was literally running in circles when they the brought him home! Hanalei will become a permanent family member with Laurie and Christie! With the pups out of the house Hanalei will be enjoying her 'retirement' with these heroes! Whitney - It took a few bad breaks to get Whitney to her forever home. As usual a BIG Mahalo to Carol for coming to the rescue... AGAIN! and to Jeremy and Sally for opening their home and hearts to Whitney! Amber - Cured of heartworm she has now stolen the hearts of Keith and Barbara! She has finally found her 'place' in the world!
Li'i captured the hearts of Joy and Jayme our super Foster family. While Joy won't be able to foster anymore Li'i is certainly in a GREAT home! Princess absolutely INSISTED that she NOT be separated from Indie so George and Amy adopted both of them! Zorro is one lucky bandito! Amstel - Bonnie and her great family adopted Amstel and they LOVE her. When they saw Akebono still hadn't been adopted they had a family meeting and now Amstel and Akebono will be together forever!

Cha Cha will be spending his days with Jack. Jack is retired so it'll be just the two of them chillin' all day long! Ralphie - Toni said her 'heart was pounding' when she met Ralphie! We have a feeling the same was true for him! A great ending to this handsome guy's story! Kuuipo - Janeen knew Kuuipo was the PERFECT dog for her and the family! She's almost done with the heartworm treatments and Janeen says she's doing very well. A BIG Mahalo to Janeen and family! Kona - Our resident Trainer Dave has done such a GREAT job with Kona that the two just can't part with each other! It's been a rough ride for Kona but it looks like he's finally found the perfect home!
Hapa - Mark, Charmaine and family flew to the Big Island and flew back with Hapa! She is transitioning to Oahu's pace and is LOVING it! Parker, our lovable mischief-maker, has finally found his Family! Mahalo to Dean and family for their patience, understanding and love! Mele has gone from living on the street to being Sachie's constant companion! Mele even goes to work with Sachie every day!! Sam has been adopted by Ellen and Family! Loompah has decided it's time to leave Oompah and start her new life with Mae and family!

Oompah has been adopted! While she misses Loompah she is VERY much in love with her new Mom Toni and the whole family. Lucky got lucky... AGAIN! Michele and family say THEY are the lucky ones. A GREAT ending to a GREAT story! Charlie Evans Scruffy has found a new home with Jeremy and Winter.
Sam - After much heartache, Joy decided she just couldn't part with Sam. Mocha - Violet fell in love with Mocha and knew instantly she would be the perfect playmate for Lokelani. Moose is having the time of his life with Ben, Jennifer and their two kids. Tiffany started her life in Hauula and has decided to move back, this time with her forever family Kim and Will. Phoenix has become a permanent part of Chris and Leslie's family.
Kahu - Can't stop at just one! Ed and Kimberly now have TWO HDF dogs - Kahu and Chubbs! Hamlet - Harriette and Tracy fell in love and will now spend their days chasing after little Hamlet. Missy Ophelia has found a loving home with Laura and family. Zoe - Gary has made Zoe a permanent part of his family.
Blackie - Leslie was looking for the perfect dog and found her - Blackie! Thanks for EVERYTHING, Leslie! Ginger - Adrieanne wanted Ginger to meet her family and now she's there forever! Parker - Nani and her family decided they just couldn't part with Parker so he's now officially a permanent part of their family. Lucky Parker! Noa - Suzette and Fred have found the love of their lives - Noa! Ricky - Chandra was looking for a buddy for Sierra and found the perfect one - our furry little Ricky!
Puggy - After being fostered by Sunny for several months, Puggy has been reunited with his family! Mili found a home with the help of everyone at Koolau Bed and Biscuit. Thanks Cheryl and Michelle! ^ Back to top ^
