Hawaii Dog Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation whose primary goal is to ensure that every dog in Hawaii is given the chance to live out its natural life in peace, safety, and contentment.

Hawaii Dog Foundation was incorporated in 2004 and is a rescue organization based on Oahu.  It is run entirely by volunteers. HDF does not have a hard-sided facility as all of our dogs reside in individual foster homes! We can only help as many dogs as we have volunteers and donations, so your help is much needed and greatly appreciated!

Our plan is to continue taking in homeless dogs; to use our network of foster families to care for these dogs; and then to find permanent, loving homes for them.

We look forward to the day when there are no more homeless dogs in Hawaii!
