Meet Hawaii Dog Foundation's volunteers! We are full of dedication to each and every dog. It truly takes a village and we are grateful for all of our HDF ohana that help us operate each and every day!
LeeAnn
President, Adoption Coordinator
2008 to Current
LeeAnn started off as a volunteer 15 years ago before taking over the foundation. LeeAnn has fostered many rescues for the foundation and has an awesome dog pack of her own which keeps her motivated to continue to find loving homes for the dogs that HDF takes in!
Jacquie
Vice President, Foster Coordinator
2022-Current
Jacquie is a previous HDF adopter x2, turned foster turned officially part of the team as of 2022. Jacquie is a full-time supermom to human and four legged kids! Jacquie is the glue that keeps the foundation afloat as we can only rescue if we have foster families.
Kay
Secretary, Fundraiser Coordinator
2020-Current
Kay has been with the foundation for 3 years. She has a master's degree in social work and currently works as a sucide prevention program manager. Kay has a dog of her own who happens to be dog aggressive and spent 2 years at the Oahu SPCA waiting to be adopted.
Together, we each bring different elements to this wonderful foundation that help it thrive. We could not do what we do without the support of our adopters, supporters, and our ohana's. It truly takes a village and we're so grateful for ours! Please keep in mind, we are a group of all volunteers and we find the time in our days between full time jobs, families of our own, and rescuses of our own to dedicate time to the Hawaii Dog Foundation! So from the bottom of our hearts, mahalo nui loa for the continious years of support from our community!
