Bella
We first met Bella in Waimanalo while doing outreach with Aloha Animal Outreach. Anyone who met Bella just fell in love with her! She is sweet, gentle, and so loving. Everytime she looked at you, it was like she was smiling and made any day a better one. After a long journey of healing from a slight ACL tear in a foster home, Bella's mom felt like Bella deserved more. Hawaii Dog Foundation started the hunt for the most perfect family for her! We eventually met her furever family. Bella now has two hooman sisters who love her to pieces. Bella has the best backyard and gets to teach other pups how to dog. Naturally, she's the best foster sister everrrrr!
Honey
Honey was found roaming the streets on the west side of the island. Honey was covered in ticks and fleas. She had not had an actual meal that didn't contain rocks or grass or trash. Honey was positive for heartworm as well. Hawaii Dog Foundation found a foster for Honey, now known as Mozzi. If it wasn't for Aloha Animal Outreach, we don't know where Mozzi would be today! Once Mozzi was in tip top shape we met this awesome crew. Today Mozzi has a roof over her head, several dog beds, several hooman brother and sisters and a fully belly at all times. This picture truly defines HDF ohana material!
